CONSULTING
Ocean Engineering provides consulting and engineering services on civil engineering topics, specifically on ports, maritime and coastal engineering.
The range of our clients goes from large corporations and governments to small companies.
The consulting services offered by Ocean Engineering are mainly projects, studies, reports, audits, and, generally speaking, technical advice to other organizations on specific issues of our activity.
ENVIRONMENT
Ocean Engineering works on the environmental aspects of civil engineering projects, usually located at port and coastal areas.
We perform Environmental Impact Assessments, Environmental Sustainability Reports, Environmental Monitoring Plans, Studies on Environmental Recovery at all types of environments, formalities at all kind of administrations, studies on renewable energies, etc.
Ocean Engineering also has work experience on in-situ data acquisition and laboratory analysis related to environmental studies, carried out both as main contractor and as subcontractor.
Our clients in this area are mainly port authorities, municipalities, regions and the Spanish Administration, as well as private companies.
CIVIL ENGINEERING
Ocean Engineering has been performing an important activity on civil engineering for decades, with particular intensity in ports and coastal works and infrastructures.
Our scope of activity covers the full spectrum of coastal and port infrastructures and structures.

R&d PROJECTS
Ocean Engineering, due to its close relationship with the national and international academic community, maintains contact with the foremost experts in the coast-port-maritime fields, which allows the incorporation of the latest innovations to the works carried out by the company.
Also, Ocean Engineering conducts R & I projects, both independently and in collaboration with other companies or agencies, some of which being in the framework of research programs with public funding.
Ocean Engineering has cooperation agreements with the Laboratory of the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros de Caminos, Canales y Puertos de Madrid, which has a channel-pool installation for physical modeling experiments.
Ocean Engineering also has numerical models for modeling many processes related to coasts, ports and environment.
INTERNATIONAL PROJECTION
Ocean Engineering is involved into international scale projects at various levels.
These projects deal with topics of its activity, including consulting, research, dissemination of know-how, or strategic planning.
Works have been developed, both in Latin American countries (Chile, Colombia and Panama, mainly), and, in particular, at the European Union (Trans-European Network of Transport TEN-T, 7th Framework Programme FP7, and Horizon 2020), and, mainly carried out for big organizations, governments, or supra-national entities.
